This policy explains what Bluechip Collectors LLC (“Bluechip”) collects, why, and your choices. By using the service you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Account info — name, email, and password (hashed). Collection data — the items, values, cost basis, and notes you add. Payment info — handled by Stripe; we store a customer/subscription reference, never your full card number. Usage data — privacy-first, cookieless analytics (page views, performance) to improve the product.

How we use it

To run the service (value your collection, price items, send the alerts and reports you set up), to process payments, to provide support, to keep the service secure, and to improve features. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers we share with

We share data only as needed with providers that power the product: Stripe (payments), eBay (pricing data and, if you connect it, listing on your behalf), Vercel (hosting/analytics), Neon (database), Resend (transactional email), and Anthropic (AI photo/screenshot identification you initiate). Each processes data under its own terms.

The Portfolio API

If you generate a Portfolio API key (Reserve), anyone holding that key can read your collection totals. Keep it secret and revoke it anytime from Settings.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in/sessions. Analytics are cookieless. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention & your rights

You can export or delete your collection data and close your account anytime. We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal/financial records. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data — email us to exercise them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed credentials, scoped access). No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

The service isn’t directed to children under 18.
