Delete your Bluechip account
You can delete your account from the website without reinstalling the app. Deletion is permanent. Export any collection records you want to keep first.
- Sign in to your Bluechip account and open Settings.
- Find Delete account, type DELETE, and select Delete my account.
- Wait for confirmation. If deletion fails, your account remains available so you can retry or contact us.
In the Bluechip app, open Home → Settings → Delete account and confirm. Cancel Apple or Google Play subscriptions through the store where you purchased them. Account deletion does not cancel those subscriptions. We request cancellation of website subscriptions through Stripe. End any active eBay listings separately in eBay.
What gets deleted
The deletion process removes your Bluechip account, saved collection and uploaded item photos, collection price history, Bluechip listing and offer records, show records, support tickets, notification registrations, and stored eBay connection. It also revokes your Bluechip sign-in sessions and API access.
Records held by other services
Deleting Bluechip does not delete your Apple, Google, Stripe, or eBay account or transaction records. Those services may retain payment and transaction records under their own legal obligations and retention policies. Infrastructure backups and security logs follow the hosting providers’ retention schedules; deletion from the active service does not mean every historical backup is immediately erased.
Need help or want only some data removed?
Email tom@bluechipcollectors.com from the address associated with your Bluechip account. Say whether you want the entire account deleted or identify the data you want removed. We may need to verify ownership before acting. Do not send your password or payment card details.
